The 23rd Harbin Ice and Snow World started trial operations on December 25, 2021, in China’s northeastern province of Heilongjiang, allowing the first visitors inside the 82 hectare (202 acre) theme park to see its huge ice and snow sculptures. Part of the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, this year’s winter wonderland has been organised under the theme “Light of the Winter Olympics, Shining to the World”. China will host the Winter Games in Beijing starting February 4, 2022.

How international is it these days?
I'm surprised there are no people on ice skates.
This festival started in 1963. But obviously didn't have a light show or ice sculptures in it. It was stopped during the cultural revolution, but started back up in 1985. The ice sculpture part started at the turn of the century.
I would love to go see this
Lol meanwhile in China, Peng Shuai sits in the fortress of solitude. While C-Xi Ping has his trusty children making Nikes and iPhones with the help of they’re side kick, the Uighur slaves. Tune in next time. Where China battles it’s greatest enemy’s, Tai-wan shogun, and The Flood.
Defund the USA
sad to see all these ice sculptures melt in summer
it’s basically a Disney land theme park only it’s built by nothing but snow and ice, absolutely gorgeous and mind blowing if you can take the cold.
Even without the ice festival Harbin is a must see city. It one of the most European looking city in China because of its Russian history
been there a couple years ago. Amazing and freezing!
Ccp is forcing people to enjoy
The ice sculptures are great but could they get a better lighting artist…..the colors are so tacky
Its was one of my fav places of my hometown. Highly recommend to you guys. I went there a couple of years ago waiting for two hours only for the long slide, which absolutely paid off. In additon, many local cuisines are also well worth of giving it a whirl.
What a beautiful winter wonderland!
