Trucker protests: Traffic moving again at BC border after 12 protesters arrested
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Twelve people were arrested on Monday at a truckers’ protest blocking the Pacific Highway border crossing in Surrey, B.C., one of the various demonstrations that had sprung up across the country since the so-called “Freedom Convoy” drove into Ottawa on Jan. 29.

It was the biggest crackdown at the border crossing since the protest against COVID-19 measures began there last week. Over the weekend, some drivers drove their trucks over a median, breaching a police blockade and leading to four people being taken into custody. Monday’s arrests bring that total to 16.

As Grace Ke reports, traffic is moving again but police will remain at the scene.

Well done Trudeau and Canada’s Police Force. The citizens of Ottawa have their city back. Borders across Canada are operating again for business….Like Father…Like Son. “Just Watch Me”. Justin will take a lot of flack for invoking the ACT… it will become political…..

Big Thank you to our strong, brave Prime Minister for invoking the Emergencies Act. Ottawa has its freedom again….the citizens of Ottawa can EXHALE ….and finally get a good night’s sleep….the nightmare is over.

In the end, Canadians have seen the professional and effective job of our police force working together to take control of a city under seize by a lawless mob. A mob filled with conspiracies …. mostly funded by and cheered by Right-Wing Americans.

    WELL DONE!!!!!
