FAS should hire a coach with a proven track record or like Indonesia, hire a coach who has qualified for a World Cup before.

I am sure FAS can hire the most expensive coach in the world. The question is what is FAS expecting within the period of their coaching contract? Cos what we have now playing for the country are most players who are ready to retire. Where do we have with the young squad? With the NS obligations. It is quite tough to have new coaches with the team with the contract the offered. When important games, under 23, the guys maybe in NS. Do the Government body allow them to go play without forfeiting their NS obligations. I think the Government body must make leeway in this area. Why would I with 2 months of being ORD, go play for the country? Because they added the months I gave to play to my ORD!! That's where you lose quality players. Stop talking rubbish and listen to young players.

It appears that there’s something inherently wrong with Sg Football. Since Uncle CHOO’s / Kuah Kim Song’s days, & also Fandi Ahmad days. Sg football has been downhill since those days. Perhaps the Sg Football Association, the past & present coaches and the players should have a heart to heart discussion to surface any deep problems that needs to be resolved.
