ALL sentient beings are owners of their own Karma, inherits his own Karma, is born of his own Karma, bears the Karma associated to his immediate family and community, supported by his own Karma.

Whatever Karma he did, GOOD or BAD. That's what he will INHERIT.

Way more transmissible means more positive numbers. Positive workers cannot work. Re infection with Omicron & delta & other variants not ruled out.
Omicron cannot be "managed" like Delta. Greater danger to existing vax & unvax with ailments facing sufferrings & death.
I do not think treating omicron as delta is a good idea forward.
Home recovery will ensure & guarantee community spread.
Faster spread numbers means overwhelmed service sectors including health.
Unless omicron positive workers are allowed to remain at work to do even more spreading, things will not work. Endemic can only be got where all Singaporeans are omicron positive ongoing rounds like a common flu. If omicron or a new deadly evolved variant is outside our expectations, we will be in a very bad way.
Vaccines & endemic requires a stable virus. We have a dangerous unstable. Our rush into endemic is fraught with inbuilt high risk & dangers.
Everything is based on a past variant. We need to really pray & hope something bad don't come.

Omicron virus has high transmission rate but cause less severity for human. Prevention of virus from spreading in community can maintain high standard of public health and no disruption in public daily life.

Singapore has done whatever it can to prepare for the next COVID-19 wave said LW. What they have done has increased the number of imported Omicron cases and now the ban on passengers from 10 African countries from entering or transiting in the country has been lifted. Although border measures is being taken, an unseen risk is still present.

U should just live normal no matter what. The vaxxed already 90%, so should have reached herd immunity. Otherwise stop vax!.

Closing every borders are impossible and unthinkable as all the countries in the world are living in close proximity. Just let omicron spread in every community and the world will be fine. People, kpkb, just let them be. The govt’s job is to get their people vaccinated, so as to prevent severe infection and death. Just look at South Africa, every new variant from Alpha breeds into Beta and Delta breeds into Omicron. Their vaccination population is extremely Low at 20% and 7 millions population are having HIV which potentially is a very good environment for breeding new variant. Omicron comes and shoot up but immediately dipping sharply within a month. By now, practically majority of their population have been infected with covid. Their culture is to just let it be. Spreading just let it spread knowing it will comes down. And omicron is their 4th wave so far for covid pandemic and this is the fastest dipping as compared to last three wave.

aiya if the 50,000 don't want to be vaccinated, let them be. Stop implementing so many restrictions just because of these people.

They're already given the option to get vaccinated, if they don't then what to do?

Omicron is not going to be the worse…..PAP's "Elon musk" rocket genius cum virus confidante who whispers into LHL's earlobes softly at night has spoken, current variants of the covid 19 coronavirus is evolving faster than silicone processor technology.with a new variant coming out every 3 to 4 months faster than the next "generation"( spoken with a French accent) of iPhones thanks to lax transmission protocols and African biochemistry.

At the current rate,we are expected to reach the 15th evolution by 2015 with the final form omegasigmasixultron emerging from the

Our only hope, says PAP is to inhale deeply and hope our immune systems develop antigen rapid reactions faster than China can produce vaccines and fake art tests.

    So short-sighted….
Just wait until the virus mutates further to something more deadly. Singapore should be taking the opportunity during the lull period to prepare for the next wave.

If there is a contraceptive vaccine.

After taking that vaccine, you still need to wear a condom, and you could still get pregnant.

You may get short term effects, and you have no idea what are the long term effects.

Will you still take that vaccine?

Yea, exactly what I thought. You must be damn bloody stupid to take it.
