For the second consecutive year, Christmas celebrations around the world were dampened due to the COVID-19 surge. Now there’s been a sharp rise in the number of infections, especially driven by the omicron variant.

    Wouldn't it be nice that instead of pretty speeches in opulent surroundings, and engulfed by the good life the Pope would announce that he is opening the huge financial reserves of the Vatican to tackle some of the enormous problems facing humanity……poverty, access to clean Water, Global Warming, access to Internet for all…the list is endless.
    Then at this time next year instead of basically the same speech as this and every year he would be announcing something tangible and not just delivering a lot of hot air.
