A bus that can ride on the road and drive on the sea/river/lake would be a better option

Interesting idea. Not sure how practical it will be, but it could be, in some more isolated rural areas.

China should keep investing in novel.technologies for the civil as well as the Transportation sector. No country in the world can develop their industries without Excellent Road Materials( Intelligent Material Science) and Transportation System. Cost Effectiveness and Safety should always be a priority for High Standard Developmemt

How about this: A 'special' bus that pick-up passenger directly from their home or bus stop, and in train station, several of this bus line-up on top on the rail and 'transformed' into train wagon and drag by usual locomotives, I think that much more efficient. Not being negative, but I think this DMV will make more train traffic much more complicated.

Oh noooooo, unlike a road, a rail is a closed system. Given the high speed of trains, there is a complex system to ensure there is an X-minutes distance between each train on the track. That’s why when one train stops, the whole line stops…..
This bus is a bad idea, it will cost lives…..

What a brilliant idea. Taking advantage of existing rail and making it “extendable.” lol! Kudos to those industrious and resourceful Asians yet again! They even gave the bus a retro look!

This is my idea for personal transportation, I see they're getting closer. There's a city where the roads are designed in a circular pattern, I think that might also be in Japan, that's the other aspect of the plan. You don't need big rails, make mini rails.

very gimmicky , it carries it's own power source, meaning the extra weight would only decrease efficiency, Also train and bus drivers are 2 entirely different qualifications, trains have to adhere to a strict schedule or risking a collision due to long stop distances

because there are SO FEW PASSENGERS, a separate Bus system would be just running empty most of the time.

Goes to show just how bad things are in rural Japan.
