NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the world’s biggest, most complex and most powerful space telescope ever built, was launched on Saturday. The telescope was sent into space by an Ariane 5 rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, after several delays caused by technical glitches. The $10 billion observatory hurtled toward its destination one million miles (1.6 million kilometers) away, or more than four times beyond the moon. It will take a month to get there and another five months before its infrared eyes are ready to start scanning the cosmos.

It is a great achievement for the NASA but what is the cost 😉 to the western countries? $10 billion dollars could have helped the covid stricken countries and fed many hungry people.

If not for the USSR's Spunik forcing the US to need such scientists, the Dulles brothers would have had them all jailed for witchcraft.

Now, I wonder what the Gay Icon, Einar Tangen, would say about this ! Einar is a credit to the mainland Chinese LGBT community and we respect CGTN America giving him so much exposure because it shows CGTN has true Diversity Values!

Telescopes like that can look in to the space 100x times but also looking at the earth can see me and my wife in the bedroom. No doubts about it.

This must be absolutely pissing off the CCP who would like to have propaganda videos about everything that they do being the worlds biggest, fastest, longest etc. this telescope is now the worlds biggest and best. Sorry China you can’t claim this one for your “best in the world” list

There is no such thing as big bang. Big bang theory can happen only in a mechanical way of thinking.

China-PRC should abandon USA/West's bogus "vast old age" magical "enough time plus chance" anything can "evolve simple to complex" nonsense

I prefer hard observable facts of actual real FAST processes like powerful electromagnetic force based electric plasma cosmology

NOT imagined SLOW non-observed processes of weak gravitational based "iffy big-bang" cosmology (has no predictive power at all) … "consensus pseudo-science" … plagues NASA "space scientists"

    Competing Cosmologies:

    Electromagnetic Force: +1
👉 win! (yet again!) for EU (Electric Universe Cosmology)

    vs

    Gravitational Force: 0
👉 loss! (as usual, again!) for NASA! (Big-Bang Cosmology)

It's so funny to see China's propaganda trolls struggling so hard to find something bad to say about an American achievement in space, as their prime mission from their Beijing headquarters is to constantly praise the CCP while vilifying the US. If they can't do those two things then they're not doing their jobs, ha ha.
