TUAN Reunion Held in Boston
On Thursday, September 4, “TUAN in Boston” was held at the Cambridge Innovation Center, with the attendance of President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President for Collaborative Research NAKAUCHI Yasushi and Executive Officer for Research Management SAKURAI Takeaki, among others.
TUAN (Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network) is an alumni association network established in October 2023 that connects the university with overseas alumni organizations and alumni (including Japanese).
Executive Officer for Research Management SAKURAI guided discussions on how the University of Tsukuba can better serve its alumni, welcomed suggestions for supporting the university, and invited ideas for future activities and projects to strengthen alumni engagement. President NAGATA and Vice President for Collaborative Research NAKAUCHI joined in the discussions as well.
This marked the second alumni meeting held in Boston and the first time for President NAGATA to participate.
TUAN alumni gatherings are planned to be held in various countries around the world in the future.
