"Tough new tactic", or completely fascist over step, over reach, totally against all human rights, not a thing that should be ever thought of in a supposedly free and democratic country. Time for a revolt, a revolution, which there will be consequences, there will be blowback, this is utter stupidity, utterly divisive, and abhorrent.

Tobacco is taxed, alcohol is taxed so why not the unvaccinated? The cost to the health care system is raised by all three of them.

In other words, universal health care is dead in Canada. When does he tax people for having multiple partners or from being overweight? After all heart and stroke are the leading cause of deaths in Canada. How about addicts; they take up massive amounts of resources. And if they don't pay does that mean that you will let them die if they overdose?
