Here is US, if I was given an option of lockdown at home for 3 weeks vs worry about the Covid infection every day, I will definitely choose the lockdown. Too sad we do not have freedom to choose. Good job, China !

China , the Chinese communist party is responsible for the millions of deaths globally and the current global economic crisis. And the recent unrest in many countries is due in part to the fall out of the Corona virus restrictions. They have been manipulating countries through acts of aggression and intimidation. The world must stand as one against the tyranny. The entire free world must stand up.

Well, no matter what you say. At least we do not have a death toll of over 800,000. If you try to say that the policies regarding Covid are unethical or something, giving free rights of not wearing masks and not receiving vaccinations at the stake of over 800,000 people’s life is more ethical? I call it selfish and extreme ignorance.

Just putting this out there, hopefully I'm wrong, but… Sun Tzu Quote: “The opportunity to secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.” Therefore; I believe the CCP may take the worlds athletes hostage at the winter games, (its already a fully fenced secure compound) in exchange of a peaceful hand over of Taiwan or at least allows CCP to attack Taiwan without outside support for Taiwan.

Data are facts and don’t lie. Here is the covid data as of 21Jan2022 (daily count only): Country A: death count: 3,866; new infection count: 825k; Country B: death count: 0; new infection count: 63. The fact is: Country A is the USA and Country B is China. Of course, there are costs and inconveniences associated with covid lockdowns such as the one in Xi'an, but what cost is higher than the loss of loved ones? China's dynamic zero-tolerance policy is not only saving hundreds of thousands of lives but is also ensuring no interruption of the global supply chain for things including masks and personal protection equipment.

Absolute fallacy – the VAST majority of people in the US that get tested are also tested to see which variant of COVID they have!
    Very easy fact to verify!
So why I the world would any sane person think China is doing any better?!?!??
Come on people – WAKE THE HECK UP!!!!!

I'd say what WSJ reports here in this video is fairly unbiased. The government of Xi'an has been criticized heavily by the public both inside and outside of Xi'an. yes, Chinese people can criticize their government as well. But things just vary from region to region, a lot cities just handle the covid situation much better than Xi'an, like Shanghai and Shenzhen. Even my hometown, a small tier-5 city in south china managed to complete the pcr test for most population and eased restrictions just one day after one case confirmed. It's bit ironic but many China's local governments now see Xi'an as a bad example, so they know what they should avoid doing.
