Sad and sorry, but forced to say, one powerful nation would have self-destructed ages and ages ago had it not been under the protective umbrella of double standards and hypocrisy!

The Americans never learn from the past. They went in Afghanistan while no one asked them, fought for 20 years and were kicked out.

There is also the question of the US-backed overthrow of the democratically elected Ukrainian government in 2014, which is the starting point for all recent problems. And this week Yahoo News reported that the CIA is training Ukrainian paramilitaries on US soil!

Recent talks between the US and Russia have failed before they even started, with the US side refusing to even consider ending NATO's pointless and provocative eastward expansion.

NATO is a relic of the Cold War that should have been dissolved along with the Warsaw Pact. It is useless and its constant clink of sabers puts us at risk of entering into conflicts that have nothing to do with US national security.

It was embarrassing to hear Blinken ridicule Russia for coming to the aid of ally Kazakhstan while a color revolution was brewing (with likely US support). "I think a lesson from recent history is that once the Russians are in your house, it is sometimes very difficult to get them to leave," Blinken told reporters.

He said it with a serious expression despite the fact that the United States continues to illegally occupy a large part of Syria, part of Iraq against the will of that country’s parliament and have occupied a large part of Afghanistan for 20 years!

Incidentally, as soon as the regime-change attempt in Kazakhstan was put down, Russian troops and its allies began to leave the country. But, of course, the pro-war US media reports nothing outside of the official narrative.

What to do with Russia? Stop supporting regime-change along its borders, as happened in Belarus, Kazakhstan and elsewhere. Stop meddling in other countries' elections. See how we wasted four years chasing false narratives that the Russians intruded on ours.

We need to stop sending arms and other aid to Ukraine. Put an end to sanctions. Rethink the US defense budget so that it can actually serve US defense only. It's not that complicated – just get rid of trying to dominate the world.

Ps. The text does not examine the disquisition on Crimea, which the West wants at all costs to be returned to Ukraine. Bizarre that, at the same time, when Trump "gave" the Syrian Golan to Israel, none of Russia's current censors protested, nor were similar sanctions imposed on Tel Aviv.
