It’s the season for New Year resolutions and according to Ipsos polling exclusively for Global News nearly half of us plan to make a big effort to do things differently in 2022. Many of those New Year’s goals are about money.
According to the Ipsos polling, 41 per cent say they plan to make New Year’s resolutions. Of those people, 48 per cent say they aim to pay off debt, 45 per cent want to make and stick to a budget, 36 per cent want to save for a rainy day and 34 per cent want to save money for retirement.

Hmmm, keep my finances in check,
1, dismantle Blackrock and arrest the ring leaders.
2, tax stock market transactions and portfolio growth.
3, cap rent and mortgage rates
4, introduce a universal minimum income (globally)
5, incremental wage rises to slowly bring salary levels in line with the economical growth we've experienced since the 1980s.
I think that would be a good start.
The federal government needs to start on keeping their (OUR) finances in check! The trough of money is not endless and Canada is very near the point of never recovering!
