Chinese businesses are blasting Washington over a law that bans some imports from Xinjiang, based on “forced labor” accusations. The China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) says the move will disrupt global supply chains, while the China Cotton Association accuses the U.S. of trying to suppress the industry in the name of human rights. On Thursday, U.S. President Joe Biden signed the “Uygur Forced Labor Prevention Act.” It bans imports from Xinjiang that the U.S. believes are made with forced labor. China is the world’s second largest cotton producer, and a key player in the global textile industry chain.

It doesn't matter. China is so huge and Xinjiang will simply produce stuff for the internal market. Xinjiang will continue to thrive, which is what matters because it prevents the West's impoverishment and hence terrorism plans for that province.
Integration with the rest of China will be tighter and tighter, and the Uyghurs and other minorities will increasingly side with Beijing as they now see who the bad guy is.

But just for the sake of it, make a law that says all imported cotton clothes have to be made from Xinjiang cotton – for national security reasons.

china banned "spiderman no way home" to supress it and tried to keep its box office collection less than stupid movie "the battle at lake changjin". China still failed to hold number 1 spot in the list of highest grossing movies in 2021.

but china wants fair treatement of its companies. double standards.

The US doesn't really care about Xinjiang or urygher even human right for that matter they just tried to push this issue to create economic hardship and force people to rebel in some way against its own country, in all intent to disrupt China in every possible way from progress.

Farmers in Xinjiang and everywhere else in China should boycott buying John Deere machines until John Deere send a team to investigate forced labor, genocide etc. that Biden and US congress are accusing China/Xinjiang of doing. Chinese consumers and businesses should refuse to do business with US companies who show colonial attitude: I want profit from you but otherwise you are a good-for-nothing violator of human rights. John Deere should have integrity like Skechers: investigate and issue the result. Move the headquarters of important Chinese Rare Earth companies, Xmas decoration, toys, etc. to Xinjiang and challenge Biden and the US congress to pass their bans on those sectors too. Confucian humility seems to only inflate the White Men's ego.

There is nothing that America has ever done that has made since. It went from the open slave market to the State slave enterprise…the document that abolished slavery literally says that slavery is illegal UNLESS they are made prisoners in the penitentiary. As a result…millions of innocent people are now slaves in that filth that is called a nation. For my ambition of buying Chinese made industrial equipment and building a house…American corruption attacked my 72 year old wife and myself at home, using laser and sound based weapons against us and raped my wife…they then spent 3 years pursuing a bogus case against me calling me the terrorists. I think we should look at mass shootings in America in a different light…I am sure every one of them were provoked by similar actions…they illegally blocked our bank accounts and wouldn't let us go until our money ran out…channel 7 Denver threatened Citibank to give us a reason why or they would run with the story…when they found out it was the law enforcement terrorizing us, they became quiet…as not to make the Rapist look bad
